Maria Loveless
For Rabun County Commissioner
I’ve raised two children and built lasting memories in Rabun County, my home for over 25 years. I love our county, as do you. That’s why I think we should have a greater voice in how it’s run.
I want to honor the work of our commissioners while being a positive force for change.
Many citizens feel disconnected from the decision-making process. They wonder, “Does my voice really matter?”
I want to be your voice.

The Leadership Our County Needs Right Now
A voice for young people
My two children are now adults in the working world. As their mom, I treasure the strengths they gained from being raised in our remarkable natural setting and Rabun community.
As every Rabun parent knows, our county lags behind in resources available for children and young adults.
I hope to develop more free activities and services for our young people. I see an urgent need for jobs and housing so that our young adults won’t feel pressured to leave their community.
I commit to working with my fellow commissioners to implement solutions that support the needs of our youth.
