Candidate Maria Loveless met with Rabun County citizens on March 11 at the Northeast Georgia Foodbank in Clayton.
The meeting included several candidates running for office in the area, including Tambrei Cash, District 9 candidate for US Congress, Paulette Williams from Rabun and Charlotte Sleczkowski of Towns County, running for GA General Assembly House districts, and Dave Cooper from Rabun.
Maria Loveless was introduced as a candidate running for Rabun County Commissioner.
The candidates worked in small groups with the participants to establish policy positions and to find the best way to support a woman’s right to choose and to protect the environment.
